Just a quick update here...
While the Broncos will be bussing four hours north to Prince Albert tomorrow, former Broncos Athletic Therapist Paul Ayotte will be unloading after a flight to Scotland with the AHL's Toronto Marlies.
Don't get me wrong, on the road in the WHL is great and all....but I'm sure Paul won't mind missing "The Highway Host" in Rosetown on the way up. He'll take the working vacation I'm sure.
The Marlies will play a series of exhibition games overseas. There's a video story you can check out here.

The Broncos had some fun today...the team got out and played a little slo-pitch this morning at the diamonds just behind the Credit Union i-plex. Call it cross-training, call it team building or whatever you'd like.

We taped three segments today for The Inside Edge. You can find the show on your local Shaw TV station. Shaw found a major sponsor this season in SIGA. The show will continue this season in a bit of a different format. Look for it later this week.

Just finished up WHL This Week Radio Edition this afternoon. It will be available on the whl website later this week. Guests include last year's CHL rookie of the year Brett Connolly of the Prince George Cougars. Saskatoon Blades GM/Head Coach Lorne Molleken and Lethbridge Hurricanes Head Coach/GM Rich Preston.

Thanks to all the local teams who have been either emailing, texting or calling in their game results. Hockey teams, high school football, minor football and volleyball teams included. It's much appreciated. In fact you can always leave your results in the comments area too. I can't get the info on the morning sports if I don't know about it. Some teams have been great with this... some teams still call me Monday afternoon wondering why I didn't have their score or game details on the radio.

We're on the air at 6:30pm with the pre-game show from Prince Albert. Former Broncos Head Coach/GM Dean Chynoweth will be our guest among others. Play-by-play at 7pm from the Art Hauser Center.
The last time the Broncos were in Prince Albert they left with a 9-1 win late last season. Matt Tassone had a career night with four goals and an assist.
Until then,
Jon
