-The Swift Current Broncos re-assigned 19 year old defenseman Andrew Hewett to the Winnipeg South Blues of the MJHL.
Hewett, from Winnipeg, has 3 points in 36 regular season WHL games. The move leaves the Broncos with 7 defensemen and 25 players on the roster.

Too bad for Andrew but the writing has been on the wall for awhile now. Being a healthy scratch for the first four games was evidence enough.
We may see him again though, I don't think this closes the chapter just yet.
