Broncos forward Cody Eakin capped a great couple days in Oshawa by scoring two goals tonight in leading Team Orr to a 6-1 win over Team Cherry at the CHL/NHL Top Prospects game.
Eakin was playing on a line with World Junior stand-out John Tavares. In the 2nd period, Tavares set-up Eakin on a nifty 2-on-1 for his 2nd goal.
For his efforts, Eakin was named Player of the Game for Team Orr.
Can't help but think his draft stock is on the rise following a strong showing.
He will rejoin the team in time for Friday's game in Lethbridge.

Not only that, but he kept his head up!
As I have said many times, Cody Eakin will be an elite NHLer and is the most complete 16 and 17 year old to ever play here.
