The Swift Current Broncos Skills Challenge is happening Sunday February 15th between 3:30 and 5:30PM at the Credit Union i-plex and is presented by the Swift Current Mall.
The Broncos players will be split up into two teams and will be coached by Jon and Chance from the Breakfast Boys on the Eagle 94.1. The players will compete in the: hardest shot competition, fastest skater, shooting accuracy and breakaway relay. Swift Current Minor Hockey players will also be involved in the skills challenge as players from the Legionnaires, Wildcats and Raiders will compete in the events.
After the skills challenge fans can interact with the Broncos at a public skate.
Tickets for the 2009 Skills Challenge are $5 for adults and children/students get in free with a paying adult. Tickets will be sold at the door.

Just so Chance knows, I've never lost an event like this. It's always a fun afternoon although I'm going to have to come up with a few new breakaway moves. My go-tos are old and awful.
We're hoping to have the new Broncos Assistant General Manager on the air tomorrow night in Moose Jaw at some point.
Sheldon Ferguson is making his way into Swift Current from Kitchener and is set to join the team tomorrow night.
We will see how today goes.
