Warning. Self serving blog post ahead.
I was flipping through a Top Prospects magazine and came across the picture. It's Tampa Bay Lightning owner Len Barrie and Steve Yzerman of the Detroit Red Wings. It was taken at the NHL draft this summer in Ottawa.
If you look right between the two...there I am, lurking on the media rail looking for an interview of some sort. That's Pierre LeBrun of the Globe and Mail/Sportsnet to my right.
This pic made its rounds in several papers across Canada and was in the Hockey News awhile back.
Just a guy in the background....
Self-serving post over.

It looks like you have your hand to your mouth like your saying "I can't believe it, here comes Pierre McGuire".
That or your yawning like the guy on press row in the green shirt to your left.
That's not self serving at all. Self serving would be making this post, then lobbying CBC for a job then whoring out your new picture book.
hahah yeah you COULD have been the guy yawing which caused that other guy to yawn right at the camera ! you have a new picture book? lol
So bitter!
Pederson, its funny how you think people are bitter. The sign of a good PBP guy or any sportscaster is that they make the game/team enjoyable. Outside of Pats fans and Rider fans, you are severly disliked. That makes you proud? Across the league, Keen, Bartel, Drinnan etc are either liked or no opinion, yet you are hated because you are so biased, bitter and can see past the rose-colored glasses you wear. Your obsession with the teams you cover reflects in poor professionalism. Its always funny when the arrogant folks of the world dont relaize the joke is on them and believe me you are laughed at.
Can we take this argument somewhere else? Feel like I'm hosting a neuttral site game or something.
How about Rod's blog.
Thanks folks,
Jon
The anonymous poster. One step above pedophiles and drug dealers on the societal depth chart.
