Tuesday Update

Gull Lake native and Swift Current "AAA" midget Legionnaire Mason Logan was involved in a Regina Pats trade yesterday.

15 year-old Mason Logan was the compensation heading to the Medicine Hat Tigers as the Regina Pats acquired 18 year-old D Cody Carlson.

The Broncos and Hockey Canada will announce this afternoon what two teams will face-off in Swift Current in a pre-tournament World Junior game.

It's said to be an all Eastern European rivalry.

Exhibition games will be held throughout the province including Prince Albert, Unity, Moose Jaw, Weyburn and more.

More details this afternoon.

------------

The Broncos are putting together their idea for a team poster this season. From what I've heard it should be an entertaining photo shoot.

You will have to stay tuned for that.

-----------

There's nothing official yet, but we could hear news later this week about an NHL signing regarding one of the Broncos. I told the family I'd hold off until something was in place. Hopefully there's more later this week.

-----------

A major reason the Broncos are winless on the road? Look no further than their PP away from home ice. The clubs is a combined 0/18 on the powerplay on the road this season.

At home? The PP is 10/42 or 23.8 %

----------

The Broncos bus limped into Swift Current last night after coming down with some electrical troubles in Swift Current Sunday night in Medicine Hat.

The next time the Broncos need it will be Sunday when they head to Regina... I think I'll grab the radio station vehicle on Sunday instead.

-----------

You heard it here first, Medicine Hat Tigers F Emerson Etem will be the WHL's Eastern Conference Rookie of the Year. Honorable mentions to Red Deer's Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Brandon's Toni Rajala.

-----------

I should have more later today....

G'day!

Jon

It's their annual team poster they give away for "poster night" later this season.
