Broncos Acquire D-Man from Chilliwack

Lots of activity down at the Broncos office today.... for now here's one deal that's been announced.

Stay tuned.....

The Broncos have picked up 18 year-old defenseman Scott Ramsay from the Chilliwack Bruins in exchange for a 7th round pick in the 2010 WHL bantam draft.

In 94 regular season games with the Bruins Ramsay scored three goals, ten assists and added 182 minutes in penalties.

Other moves coming up? Interesting...Ramsay was a guy I've thought we needed to get all along. He is an 18 year old dman with size and toughness...both characteristics that we needed. Good work Mr. Lamb!!

"for now here's one deal that's been announced." Perhaps I am reading WAY too much into what you said but does that imply there are more moves coming our way?

Something more is expected later today.

Ramsay can't play. How does this help?

We have some solid 15 year olds already to now get another one...
- Evan Richardson
- Sutton Olson
- Shea Howorko
- Ashton McLeod
- Robbie Newton

I'm impressed by our future but I'm still of the idea we need some toughness and I thought Ramsay was that guy. Pleas tell me more will be done. We are too soft of a team.

Newton is 16. This is a good pickup.don't get too wrapped up. Everything takes time

Tyler is quickly becoming the new 'Big Ern'. Way too obsessed of a fan and needs to take his meds. Keep up the good work on the blog, 'Mr. Keen.'
