It very well could have been. I'm trying to think what role Swenson had in this besides being on the wrong end of about 10-12 punches from JC Lipon when they went at it.
I would expect similar announcement about the Blazers involved on Monday. Since Portland played tonight they made their announcements...both teams will be fined for the goalie fight and I wouldn't be surprised to see a few Blazers with suspensions.
Bosch and Neigum to me were the guys who escalated the situation and I can say that as a Blazer fan.
Agreed, Neigum was out of control at the beginning (he was trying to fight Nino previously, but obviously the Hawks were not into that trade) and deserves a suspension. However, the 2 Winterhawks most deserving of suspension weren't suspended - Ross (started the whole thing) and Jordan (head shot on Colin Smith in the 3rd period).
Keen, did you even watch the game? There are videos to help get your facts reported accurately. It was not Swenson who sent the helmet to the Blazers locker room. And Lipon and Bosch were at the wrong side of the ice. Bosch and Neigum were definately the guys who went out their way to escalate the situation.

Who was the Portland player that shot Willick's helmet across the ice? That seemed to start the whole thing. Was that Swenson?
