Ranford Added to Team WHL

After a few days of speculation, the Western Hockey League has added Blazer F Brendan Ranford to the team WHL roster.

Ranford's 17 goals in 19 games speaks for itself. He will play in the Wednesday, November 17th game set for Kamloops.

I have to commend the WHL on this. So often one can make a decision and dig their heels in. The WHL realized the situation and made the right move.

Ranford will join linemate Chase Schaber and Blazer defenseman Austin Madaisky on the roster. They will battle the Russian selects in game five of the Subway Super Series.

The Russians have opened with a pair of wins over the QMJHL 5-4 and 4-3.
