Tuesday....

Below, former Bronco goaltender teammates Kyle Moir (left) and Travis Yonkman (right) meet in the handshake line at the CIS Semi-Final game.

Yonkman's University of Alberta Golden Bears defeated Moir's Lakehead University 5-3 to advance to the final.

------------

Bronco F Cody Eakin has arrived in Hershey, PA. He could see game action later this week with the Hershey Bears of the AHL - the Washington Capitals affiliate.

I'll have a recap if he gets into the line-up at some point.

---------

I'm set to sit down with Broncos Head Coach / General Manager Mark Lamb later today for a year-end evaluation and chat. I'll try to transcribe some of that here. If you listen to local radio, the stories will air later in the week.

--------

The final four in the East has been determined (1) Calgary will meet (5) Medicine Hat while number (2) Brandon plays (3) Saskatoon.

With Saskatoon healthy again, this will be a great series. The series opens in Saskatoon with the Royal Winter Fair going on in Brandon.

-------

Props to Regan Bartel in Kelowna.

I listened to the third period on Rockets Radio AM 1150 last night in Everett. The Rockets held on for a 2-1 win as Mark Guggenberger made 41 saves for the win - the bulk load of those saves came in the final period.

The broadcast sounded great. Colorman Gord McGarva was on board as well

What an exciting third period....what a big win for the Rockets who seem to always have the playoff magic going.

Looks like Moir and Yonkman are getting set for a make out session in that picture.
