Big Night in Prince Albert...

After the Regina Pats did the Broncos a favour last night, perhaps the Brandon Wheat Kings will follow suit tonight in Prince Albert.

The Raiders trail the Broncos by six points for the final playoff spot but missed an opportunity to close the gap last night in Regina. The Pats put the game away with an empty-netter in the final seconds and then added another for a 6-3 win.

Of course, everything is shaping towards Wednesday's game as the Broncos make the trek North to Prince Albert in what has the potential to be a crucial game. Bottom line - if the Raiders don't beat Brandon tonight the game becomes inconsequential.

To be blunt, Prince Albert's season is on the line every time they step on the ice from this point forward.

The Moose Jaw Warriors defeated Lethbridge last night to clinch a playoff spot. They are three points up on the Broncos for 7th. The teams play each other next weekend in a home-and-home to wrap up the regular season.

Bronco F Taylor Vause made a connection in Calgary Thursday night. Taylor, who has been diagnosed with diabetes, took time post-game to chat with a young boy who has type 1 diabetes. I had this pic f'wd'd to me and I thought I would share it.
