Head Coach/GM Should Be Named by Week's End

Sources are indicating the Swift Current Broncos could have a new Head Coach/General Manager by week's end.

The selection committee will meet with the Board of Directors tomorrow and at that point put forward recommendations for approval.

If the Board gives the recommendations the green light, it's expected a contract offer will be made at that point.

Several sources have indicated all along that local product Mark Lamb is the front-runner. It's expected he will be introduced officially by Thursday or Friday if an agreement can be reached.

It's expected that current Assistant General Manager Sheldon Ferguson and Assistant Coach Tim Kehler will at the very least stay in their current roles or have an increased role moving forward.
