Eagle 94.1 FM Hall of Fame Party

The pre-Hall of Fame event went over well. The 1989 Memorial Cup Championship game was replayed on the big screen TVs in the lounge. I was surprised to see everyone watching it as if it was a live game and the outcome undetermined. When Tim Tisdale's OT winner found the back of the net, a huge cheer came up with the crowd. It was a lot of fun.

We had about half the group make it down for the event. The Broncos are expecting 20 of the 23 players from the team to attend tonight's Hall of Fame ceremony. It's amazing to see how many players from the team are or were involved in a coaching/management role. They include Tim Tisdale (back middle) - Regina Pats, Danny Lambert (front, 2nd from left) Kelowna Rockets, Blake Knox (front middle) Seattle Thunderbirds, Lorne Frey (right of Knox) Kelowna Rockets and Darren Kruger (right of Frey) Medicine Hat Tigers.
