I hope everyone had a good break... it was a lot shorter it seemed this year as the Blazers board the bus for Vancouver ahead of tomorrow night's Monday nighter at Pacific Coliseum.
For me, it was 3300 kms back and forth to Saskatchewan with three or four stops throughout the province. Definitely rushed, but happy to be back for the 2nd half of the season.
Several of the players are flying into Vancouver today. The bus will pick them up and a skate is set for later this evening to try and shake off the rust and Christmas cheer.
I'll blog later tonight once we get settled in. The Blazers are looking at a short staffed line-up again as they begin the 2nd half with several players out with either suspension, World Juniors or the U-17 Challenge. I'll break down who's in and who's not for tomorrow night's game.
One question mark is D Josh Caron. We will find out what Minnesota had to say about his collarbone and if he's good to play.
More later....
