Good for the both of them, the Schaber-Madaisky for Bubnick, Shattock, Stebner deal looks like a steal for us. But how is Ranford constantly overlooked? The guy is almost a goal a game player so far and if he keeps going this way should get close to a 100 points.

Ranford being left off is disappointing. He's having a big season so far. I think a lot of people around the organization thought he would be playing in the game. I think he still will, could be a late injury addition. Stay tuned.

Anonymous - while that trade is clearly paying some dividends for the Blazers this year, remember that the Hitmen won a WHL title last year with Bubnick, Stebner, and Shattock.

That is the reason that trade was made, and unless the Blazers are able to have some serious postseason success with Schaber and Madaisky in the next 2 years, there won't be any doubt about who actually won the deal.
