A couple of guys I like to keep track of battled in NHL pre-season action last night.Zack Smith and Dale Weise met as the Ottawa Senators took on the New York Rangers.
Zack scored an empty-netter to complete the hat-trick to go along with an assist for an 8-5 Sens win.
He's wearing the very familiar #15 now with the Sens... and that's a good sign he may be staying with the big club to start the season,

Weise added an assist and played a physical style game and scrapped with Nick Foligno. You can see that here:
Good to see these guys battling it out to the end.
