Very dissapointed in you Jon. You didn't get to the heart of anything and you chose to pick and choose to read friendly emails instead of ones where the real fans were asking the tough questions. "Are we going to have cheerleaders?" Really? Who cares? What about how this team has been a bigger joke if that's possible since they've owned the team, what are you going to do to really make it better?

Craig wow what an arrogant person he's turned into. None of these people have any clue of just how low morale the fanbase is and how much we've all lost faith in the team and ESPECIALLY THE OWNERSHIP.

Dissapointed in me? Pick up the phone and call in your concern. I read every email question we had.

There is a phone # we gave out, or you could have showed up in person. Nah, that would be too hard. Just throw an anonymous email with no name attached and let the radio guy read it.... much easier eh?

Jon, just to to give a brief history of river city hockey that might make you understand the fans level of dis content 1 they knew they were going to takes over the team and yet came in with no management team fired the coach and gm after 12 games and hired a rookie gm and coach gutted some quality d men for nothing and left a team in complete dis array.
2.hired new gm who spent the first year trying to get any giant castoff possible and hired a head coach who had no head coaching experience and season 2 turned out to be another wasted year as the gutting process still was not started on the ice.
3. season 3 we fire another coach 2 in 3 years now and then finally decide to start to actually rebuild the team this process should have started 2 years earlier but remember we did not have a gm then so us loyal fans threw obvious money away waiting for something to happen. We went last year from being nationally ranked to having a team that had no chance in 3 months.
4. we go into this season with obvious goal tending issues and while it finally have a team that looks like it might be able to compete. there is a lot a nights that we could of had better efforts in net. I know for myself that I actally feel cheated by this ownership group in the fact that it took so long to do what obviously should have been done upon there arrival. So when Craig says that the goalies are the fault of previous management we have had 4 seasons to up grade in that position as we have in other positions. So maybe this ownership/management group should be not blaming previous mistakes by the old ownwers and stand up to be accountable for there slow progress and many mistakes.

Why is there a small group of doomers and gloomers sending me emails and comments trying to jade me on the organization? I think I'm old enough and have been around the league long enough to draw my own conclusions.

Actually jon if I was a doomer and gloomer i would have been long gone but after 26yrs of having season tickets i have a good idea what kind of teams win in this league and this years squad is really close. Maybe i am a little bitter because weve had a long run with absolutly no playoff success and after watching in the 90s i expect more. the problem for me was the complete lack of a plan for the first 2.5 yrs of there ownership. I think the fact that i was paying for those years allows me to point out obvious flaws and feel a little cheated about my investment, believe me idont think anyone expected this team to win the memorial cup, heck i can even handle losing if it looks like the ends will justify the means. the dub has been and will continue to be the best junior league in the world and all im after is for this franchise to start to make moves in the right direction, which finally happened in the 3rd season of river city hockey ownership. I just wish they would have implemented this plan alot earlier. Guy Charron has been a welcome savior to this team and its nice to have him at the helm. At no time during this whole process have i thought of giving up my biggest show of support which is buying tickets. btw i enjoy your calling of the games and hopefully your positive outlook and slightly homer take will help in the process which has finally begun.

Well, thanks for signing your name to it Kevin. I was more referring to anonymousothers who seem to be lashing out a bit more than you.

I'll judge them personally on my experience with my time here. I come in with no pre-conceived notions.
