Just got off the phone with Gull Lake, SK native and former "AAA" Legionnaire Dusty Stevenson. He signed this morning with the Washington Capitals.
He's in the middle of the SJHL Championship series with his La Ronge Ice Wolves. They are currently tied with Yorkton 1-1 in the best-of-seven final.
I'll blog some of his thoughts tomorrow.
No doubt quite the accomplishment for the hulking 6'5" defenseman who was also named the SJHL Player of the Year. Congratulations to him.
