The annual WHL Bantam Draft took place in Edmonton Thursday. The Broncos made 8 selections: 4 forwards, 3 defensemen and 1 goalie. All players are born in 1995.

We see that in our players selected. The forwards selected are speedy and skilled and the defensemen are mobile and move the puck well. The goaltender we selected is a kid we’ve had an eye on all season long. We wanted to add depth at all positions and take the best players available, this group has a bit of grit as well.”
