What a day Sunday at the Credit Union I-plex... I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it.
It was Prairie Gold Junior Lacrosse action between the Swift Current Rampage and the Moose Jaw Mustangs.
A well played game ended with Moose Jaw holding off a Rampage comeback bid with a 6-5 win. But at the end of the game, the teams brawled for what seemed like 10 minutes. Players coming off the benches, people getting sucker-punched and double teamed... it was a full out bunkhouse brawl involving around 15 or 16 players. It was our version of the Piestany punch-up.
Crazy.
