Former Swift Current Broncos Assistant Coach Tim Kehler has won the Joe Tenant Memorial Trophy for the Interior Conference Coach of the Year.
In his first season with Salmon Arm, Kehler guided the Silverbacks to a 38-19-2-1 record and third spot in the Interior Conference.
Kehler and the Silverbacks play Merritt in the opening round of playoffs.

Things worked out really well for Tim getting off the sinking ship in Swift......even if it wasn't his doing - good for him.
