White Doubles Black 4-2, Broncos Down to 35 on Roster

Geordie Wudrick's pair of third period goals helped Team White to a 4-2 win over Team Black in the Broncos annual Intersquad game.

Dale Wiese and Taylor Vause also scored in the game which saw about 10 veteran players get the night off.

Matt Tassone and '06 first rounder Christian Magnus scored in the loss.

Geordie Wudrick spoke after the game on his two goals.

" I was just kind of teasing them (Team Black) for the first two and half periods, I told Yonkman I would get a pair on him earlier. I got a little back-hand spin-a-rama that went five hole and then a little off the wrong side one-timer that slid past him.. I had to give it to him after that... absolutely."

Following the game, the Broncos re-assigned 13 players, including 15 year olds: Josh Derko (LW), Michael Lazo (LW), Nicco Digiovannantonio (C), Adam Lowry (C), Preston Amundson (C), Clayton Chingee (RW), Nathan Zimbaluk (LD), Graeme Craig (RD), and Brandon Bruce (RW). The 16 year olds are: Brendan Ritchie (D), Taylor Ernst (D), Brody Luhning (D) and Andrew Sullivan (F).

It puts their roster at 35 players heading into the Edmonton pre-season tournament this long weekend.
