Election Day / Quiet Week

Big day across the province for our provincial election. It should be a very exciting evening as Swift Current's Brad Wall looks to become the next premier of the province.

Not a lot going on with the Broncos. The team is in the middle of six days between games as they prepare for a three in three this weekend beginning with the Medicine Hat Tigers Friday night at the I-plex.

Stopped by practice yesterday and it appears forward Mike Brown continues to to get better. He's recovering from a shoulder injury and has resumed skating.

Apparently a bunch of Zack Smith fans - a whole bus load, will be making their way into to Swift Current Friday night for the Broncos/Tigers game. That should make things exciting for the Broncos captain.

A reminder for Friday's game, a donation of used sporting equipment or a cash donation towards Swift Current Kidsport will get your name entered for a pair of Rider tickets to Sunday's west-semi final against Calgary. We will be making the draw during the game.

Kidsport, and radio station volunteers will be set-up outside the entrances collecting donations. Thanks for helping out....

Jon
