Reich for the Stars

Another Vancouver trade today...

It appears former Bronco Micheal Hengen may soon have company for most career WHL teams in the last five years following another trade involving Mike Reich today....

Here's the news release:

The Vancouver Giants have dealt 19 year-old forward Mike Reich to the Saskatoon Blades. In exchange, the Giants will receive a 7th round pick in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft.

Reich, who was acquired earlier this season from the Regina Pats, is into his 4th season in the WHL. The 5’11”, 192lbs forward from Craik, Saskatchewan appeared in 13 games with the Giants, scoring three goals and adding one assist.

Here is the scoresheet:

Hengen: Swift Current, Saskatoon, Chilliwack, Calgary, Moose Jaw, Edmonton

Reich: Spokane, Calgary, Regina, Vancouver, Saskatoon....

He still has another year to play in the WHL...maybe he can join the super six club too.

Personally I like his game. The cousin of former Bronco Jeremy Reich plays with an edge. Im sure we will see that edge Sunday when he attempts to prove his worth to his new team.
