Blazers Select D Connor Hamonic - 7th round 138th
The Blazers picked up another defenseman in the 7th round taking D Connor Hamonic out of Winnipeg. I'm checking to see the relation of Connor to New York Islanders D Travis Hamonic. I believe they are cousins.

No they are not related. Connor is, however the younger brother of Justin (JB) Hamonic, who was selected in the 5th Round (102nd overall) by Tri-City in 2009.
