Stanley Cup in Stewart Valley Wednesday!

I was just told tonight the Stanley Cup will be in Stewart Valley this Wednesday. Festivities will start at lunch time at the Stewart Valley School will speical guest host Travis Moen.

The event is open to the public - everyone is invited. You can get pictures taken with the cup for only $2 with proceeds going to the Stewart Valley Rec Board. There will be hamburgers and pop so make sure to come out and make a day of it. Bring the family and make a day of it.

The Moen family plans to have their own celebration later on in the evening back in Swift Current.

The cup is coming in from Regina once Chris Kunitz and Ryan Getzlaf have their way with it the day before.

Safe to say I'm excited for Travis and Stewart Valley. It's great that he can share the famous trophy with the entire southwest.

I've already had my "turn" with the cup last month in Columbus. The Ducks staff had it out on the town the Thursday before the draft. Here's the proof...

See you in Stewat Valley on Wednesday,
Jon

The cup will make it's lone public appearance in Stewart Valley. There is a private function slated for Swift Current in the evening
