Not much new to report today.... it feels like Ground Hog Day sometimes in Brandon....
The Broncos will have to be better tonight. It looks like they may switch things up in goal tonight and give Mark Friesen the start. Morgan Clark got the call in last night's game one.
The team had an optional skate this morning and is now back at the hotel.
No other significant changes are expected. We're on the air at 6pm with the pre-game show, 6:30pm play-by-play.
----------
Broncos Assistant Coach Tim Kehler had some adversity of his own to overcome. In what may one of the most dangerous spots in all the WHL, Kehler took a puck to the chin in warm-up just outside the Broncos dressing room prior to game one.
He shook it off, but there was a bit of a welt.
Anyone who has ever set up in the WHL's visitors space in Brandon knows it can be a hard hat area during practice or warm-up. The space is just behind the one net and is elevated to be near the same level as the top of the glass. Not ideal.
Tim is expected to be in the line-up tonight....
------------
Sounds like a lot of people are having fun back home with the Women's Curling going on. The first draw gets underway this afternoon.
The Patch will be a busy place. Last night was the Opening Night Gala.
It should be a really fun week back home inside the Credit Union i-plex.
Off for a Forbidden Flavours coffee... more later....

Ground hog day? Has to be better than the Rat infection!! Or are you referring to the movie where the outcome will be the same for the Broncos again today?
