Cody Eakin scored on his first pro shot on goal tonight to help The American Hockey League's Herhsey Bears knock-off the Syracuse Crunch 5-2.
Eakin scored 9:49 into the first period off the face-off through a screen.
Word is he played a lot for the Bears on the night who head to Rochester to play the Americans Friday night.
