Vote for Humboldt

The good folks in Humboldt, SK are rallying the troops in a bid to land Kraft Hockeyville 2009.

There is an online voting process at cbcsports.ca/hockeyville. Voting is open until 11pm Sunday night.

The Swift Current Broncos and Humboldt Broncos of the SJHL are cousins of sorts and were affiliated for many years.

Humboldt is a half hour drive from my hometown and it's where I watched for first junior hockey game as the Broncos hosted the Yorkton Terriers.

Give Humboldt your support!

    Thank you for the plug. In the early 1970s, many Swift Current Broncos had a stint in Humboldt as you noted regarding their affiliation. It was this affiliation that resulted in Humboldt becoming "Broncos".
